Reuben Brothers buys Kensington’s Glen House

Reuben Brothers has acquired Glen House in South Kensington, which has nearly 12,000 sq ft in total space, including just over 2,600 sq ft in office space.

The freehold building on 125-133 Old Brompton Road has planning consent for offices and luxury flats over five floors.

Michael Elliot acted for the seller.  Motcomb Estates advised Reuben Brothers.

The deal is the latest in a series of moves this year by Reuben Brothers.

In June, the property tycoons, David and Simon, completed their £300m purchase of Burlington Arcade from Thor Equities and Meyer Bergman.

In March, Reuben Brothers completed on two further London property acquisitions. The first was 10 Shepherd Market and the second purchase was Amberley Wharf, situated on the northern side of the iconic Grand Union Canal in Little Venice. Amberley Wharf comprises seven blocks of flats let on a long lease to Westminster City Council.

GVA sold Amberley Wharf on behalf of Canal & River Trust (C&RT).
