Investec Asset Management has prelet Angelo Gordon and Beltane Asset Management’s 55 Gresham Street, EC2.
The firm is to move its operations, currently based at Woolgate Exchange, into the 121,600 sq ft of offices at the building (pictured), paying around £65 per sq ft on a 15-year lease.
Angelo Gordon and Beltane purchased the site in 2014, regearing the head lease with the City of London Corporation and securing planning consent for a major redevelopment designed by Fletcher Priest Architects.
Duncan Roe, partner at Beltane, said: “The deal also represents the area’s continued pull for financial occupiers, who remain committed to the City of London.”
Mike Diana of Angelo Gordon added: “London has performed very well for us as an investment destination and we look forward to being active here for the long term.”
JLL and Cushman & Wakefield advised Angelo Gordon and Beltane Asset Management; DeVono Cresa acted on behalf of Investec Asset Management.
