HB Reavis has appointed Steven Skinner as its new UK chief executive.
Skinner (pictured) joined the firm in April last year as transactional director responsible for acquisitions, leasing, financing, asset management, and marketing.
Before joining HB Reavis he led a team of 100 as head of BNP Paribas Real Estate’s West End office after joining the firm in 2012 from Savills.
Skinner will oversee HB Reavis’s UK growth plans and be responsible for the delivery of the UK portfolio, which includes the firm’s development of Elizabeth House, SE1, by Waterloo station, and the £120m, 138,000 sq ft mixed-use scheme to be built above the western end of Farringdon’s Crossrail station on the corner of Cowcross Street and Farringdon Road.
His promotion follows the appointment in June of Joe Martin as HB Reavis’s new UK construction director.
Radim Rimanek, deputy chief executive of HB Reavis Group, said: “Since joining HB Reavis, Steven has contributed to the growth of our business in the UK. He has been a passionate ambassador of our strategy, and is an inspiring character.”
Skinner said:“We have emerged as one of the leading commercial developers in the UK. I look forward to working with our talented and entrepreneurial team in London.”
