A five-acre site opposite St Thomas’ Hospital in central London is being prepared for a potential £200 million sale.
The proposed Royal Street development is close to Waterloo railway station and both the Westminster and Lambeth bridges across the Thames.
Guy’s and St Thomas’ Charity, which supports the two big London hospitals, has appointed advisers for a sale to a developer with an eye to a mixed-use scheme including housing, shops and commercial space and a new medical facility for the hospital trust.
