A hedge fund boss repeatedly hit a property tycoon in the face after claiming that he had been called “a lying shyster Jew” at an exclusive Mayfair bar, a court has been told.
Simon Lyons, 37, allegedly lunged at Giles Mackay, 56, beside the dancefloor at the members-only bar MNKY HSE after their friendship broke down over family court proceedings involving a former girlfriend of Mr Lyons.
Lyons allegedly slapped Mr Mackay, who has appeared on The Sunday Times Rich List and is said to own a £100m home in Kensington, west London.
