Kimberly Hepburn’s ‘Plan A’ for her life was a standard one – go to university and study mathematics.
But soon, ‘Plan A’ stopped making sense and she became an apprentice quantity surveyor at Transport for London instead.
Hepburn looks back on why she decided to become an apprentice and why, four years later, she is still an advocate for apprenticeships as a route into property.
