AXA IM in talks to take space at 22 Bishopsgate

AXA Investment Managers is in talks to take 65,000 sq ft at 22 Bishopsgate, the skyscraper being developed by the AXA IM Real Assets property business and Lipton Rogers.

It is expected to relocate into the space from 7 Newgate Street, where its lease expires at the end of next year on the 77,000 sq ft of office space it occupies, and from 155 Bishopsgate.

AXA IM’s take-up of space follows the letting agreement with Hiscox at what will be the City of London’s tallest tower.

The insurance firm is to take 75,000 sq ft across three floors at the 62-storey building on a lease expiring in 2037.

“We are in discussions with a number of tenants who are interested in taking space at 22, some of which are at an advanced stage, but our policy is not to comment on transactions until a contract has been signed,” AXA IM Real Assets said in a statement.
