Demand for office space under development in central London has reached a ten-year high.
Savills, the property consultancy, said that so far this year central London had already produced the greatest number of office pre-lets, where space is leased before a building is constructed, than in any year in the past decade.
Twenty deals have been completed for office space exceeding 50,000 sq ft this year and Savills said that there were at least eight further pre-lets under offer.
