Citigroup tower heads for market with £1.2bn price tag

The iconic Citigroup tower in Canary Wharf, E14, is reportedly being put up for sale for around £1.2bn by its owner AGC Equity Partners.

The Middle Eastern fund is putting the 1.2m sq ft skyscraper at 25 Canada Square on the market, according to Bloomberg, five years after acquiring the flagship asset for £1bn in 2013.

CBRE is believed to be advising AGC on the possible sale.

Citigroup has a lease on the Docklands building until 2037.
