Santander has appointed Osborne & Co on its £75m office in Bootle, Liverpool, in its second major project with the development partner.
The new contact centre and operations hub will accommodate more than 2,500 employees and replace the existing site, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this month.
Construction is expected to begin in 2021, following submission of a planning application in 2019.
It comes after Osborne & Co was appointed development partner for Santander’s £150m, 500,000 sq ft technology headquarters in Milton Keynes.
Osborne & Co director Conor Osborne said: “We are looking forward to working with Santander to build a state-of-the-art campus and community asset the local area will be proud of.
“We will construct an office tailored exactly to the wants and needs of Santander – and its employees – setting a benchmark for large-scale developments in the UK.”
Osborne & Co is the new vehicle for property projects in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa, developed under the UK property business of Vanguard Real Estate, which comprises the partners of Osborne and Co and Jim Kelly, ex-principal of St Francis Group.
It has a global development pipeline with a GDV of £5bn over the next three years.
