Boots has agreed lease terms for Marks & Spencer’s former shop in Covent Garden, WC2, with landlord the Mercers’ Company.
The 28,232 sq ft store, at 107-115 Long Acre, has been let to the retailer on a 20-year lease at an annual rent of £3.3m.
The property is located in a corner unit at the junction with Neal Street, directly opposite Covent Garden Tube station.
Sam Foyle, retail director at Savills, which advised Boots, said: “The size and location of this store opposite one of London’s busiest Tube stations ticks every box.”
