Cloudscraper appoints ULI Europe chair to advisory board

Urban Land Institute Europe chairman Juergen Fenk has joined the German advisory board of real estate trading and communication platform Cloudscraper Exchange.

Cloudscraper said Fenk’s experience as a lender and investor would provide it with insight into the balance the platform must strike to provide a clear, integrated value proposition for the business’s continued development of its international lending and capital markets toolset.

Fenk is also joint chief executive of Signa Holding and a member of the executive board of Signa Group, focusing primarily on banking, capital markets and capital sourcing for the group.

He is also responsible for establishing its new debt fund and insurance business units and is principal and chief executive of Signa Innovations, the group’s new venture capital platform investing in tech companies in the real estate industry.

Cloudscraper chairman and chief executive Moses Gottlieb said: “Juergen will add tremendous perspective to how the Cloudscraper Exchange can better serve the institutional real estate market on a global basis.”

Fenk added: “I am thrilled to join the Cloudscraper advisory board and be involved with an organisation revolutionising the commercial real estate space and which could have a major effect on the way assets will be bought, sold and financed.

“Technology is changing the way lenders and real estate investors operate and I am grateful for the opportunity to provide my input,” he said.
