People and companies: Boyer appoints senior planner in Colchester office

Boyer has appointed Yee Cheung (pictured left) as a senior planner in the Colchester office. She is a chartered town planner and has experience in planning applications in residential, retail and heritage development.

Addington Capital has recruited Tim Cornford (pictured second from left) as partner and head of its retail asset management team. He joins from Ellandi where he was an associate director.

Emma Gullifer (pictured second from right) has joined BMO Real Estate Partners’ UK property fund team as assistant fund manager based in London. She will be responsible for the management of the flagship UK property fund.

James Shuttleworth  (pictured right) has joined Lambert Smith Hampton as an associate director in the planning and development consultancy team. He joins from Manchester City Council where he was planning and infrastructure manager.

Savills has appointed Florence Finel as an associate in its tenant representation team. He will work alongside head of tenant representation and corporate services Serge Vayer to develop its cross-border reach.

This Land has appointed David Lewis as strategic land director. Lewis and the team will build on the company’s site development portfolio across Cambridgeshire.

Dolphin Living has appointed James Hedgman as finance director.

Aviva Investors has appointed Adrien Beuriot in the new role as head of continental Europe asset management in real estate based in Paris.

Aitchison Raffety has appointed Niall O’Regan as an associate director in its healthcare team. He will be responsible for undertaking rent reviews and lease renewals, and provide strategic advice to clients looking to build healthcare portfolios.

Knight Frank has appointed Rian Strauss as an associate in its City and East new homes team. He brings more than a decade of sales, consulting and research experience.

DPP Planning has appointed Jo Robison as a director and Amanda Brocklehurst as an associate director.

Farebrother has appointed Jack Williamsonian as a partner. He joined the firm in 2014 and provides strategic advice to clients on office acquisition and disposal instructions across central London.

Turnbull Group has appointed Atri Prashad as a land manager. Tim Denis and Cerise Lindsay have joined the design team.

Rob Jones will join Time Retail Partners as a director in March. Jones is a director at AS Retail in the specialist business and has advised on some of the premier schemes and retail developments in the UK.

James Daffern has joined Savills in Birmingham as a valuation director. He has worked in commercial real estate for 22 years and joins from JLL.

Knight Frank has recruited John McClymont as partner to lead its analytics team. Surveyors Miles Walby, Rachel Scott, Chris Wilton and Edd Pimble join the fund valuation team; and Adam Dowsett joins as an analyst. In the leading valuation sector, Will Fielding and Graham Webb join as associates; Sarah Naughton as a surveyor; Varun Dev Gudka and Victoria Davey as senior surveyors; and Molly Homes as an apprentice.

Vijay Parikh has been named managing partner at Harold Benjamin. Parikh joined the partnership in 2010 and has been instrumental in the development and expansion of the firm’s commercial property and auction and investments team.

Lee Baron has hired Zen Shaban-Rogers as senior property manager and Charlie Wheaton as a property manager, to work on its growing portfolio of regeneration projects in London.

Principal Real Estate Europe has appointed André Weitkamp as head of asset management in Germany.

JLL has recruited William Cox, former head of land at Pocket Living, to its new residential development business in the Midlands. He will be responsible for sourcing residential development sites.

Katrina Crisp has joined Cushman & Wakefield as a planner in the development and planning team in Leeds. She joins from Indigo Planning and has acted on retail, infrastructure and residential schemes.

Tom Bevan has joined Vail Williams’ Solent team as an associate from Gerald Eve. He will undertake commercial valuation work on behalf of lenders and residential development appraisals.

Sam Veal has been named chief executive at Blueprint. He replaces Nick Ebbs who will remain as vice chairman of Igloo Regeneration, the national development company which manages the Blueprint business.

Commercial property lawyer Robin Sharp has joined DTM Legal. He has experience in advising clients in the UK retail, leisure, corporate landlord and occupier sectors.

Pan-European real estate manager Redevco has appointed Nick Jopling to its residential investment committee. Jopling has worked as an advisor and broker at Allsop and CBRE, and most recently he was property director at Grainger.

Colliers International has promoted Sam Addison to head of project management, occupier services EMEA. She joined the firm in 2018 as a director in the UK project and building consultancy team.

Vail Williams has appointed valuations adviser Richard Sumner as an associate based in its Gatwick office. He joins from Arnold and Baldwin and specialises in residential property valuations.
