Fidelity has clinched home security firm Resideo as a tenant at its 200 Berkshire Place in Winnersh, Berkshire.
The company has signed a five-year lease for 9,000 sq ft at close to asking rents at the building of £26.50 per sq ft. The firm relocated from Bracknell following a corporate demerger from Honeywell.
There now remains 18,000 sq ft available in the building, which is owned by the Fidelity UK Real Estate Fund and is home to tenants including Sage, Amdocs and Hewlett-Packard.
Johnny Bray, partner at DTRE said: “The letting to a leading global business such as Resideo is a ringing endorsement of the refurbishment and improvement works undertaken to the building. Leading technology firms are attracted to Reading because of the transport connections and amenities, which help with staff recruitment and retention, and this building benefits from on-site amenities, generous car parking and a train station within a few minutes walk.”
DTRE is joint letting agent alongside Lambert Smith Hampton.
