Consero London has acquired a site in Bushey for a £50m luxury London commuter residential scheme.
The 3.5-acre consented site at Birchville Court, on the outskirts of London, is the first of a series of acquisitions expanding its offering of luxury homes priced between £800,000 and £2.5m.
The Bushey acquisition will see Consero London deliver 41 homes set in landscaped grounds, with the creation of Heathbourne Village. There will be 22 private-sale apartments and penthouses, five private-sale detached houses and 14 shared-ownership and social-rented homes.
The scheme has been designed by luxury residential architectural practice Metropolitan Development Consultancy and in-house interior design team Consero Design. It focuses on traditional English country style. Homes will include brick-and-render elevations, brick detailing, pitched roofs and bay windows, with entrance driveways and wide leafy boulevards.
The housebuilder is in final discussions with preferred local estate agents with a launch expected in the summer.
Robert Osborn, managing director of Consero London, said: “[We are] known for the high quality of our classic British architecture and interiors, and our ability to create schemes whose traditional vernacular and style complement their local setting.”
Birchville Court was built in 1928 as an Edwardian lodge house owned by the Marjoribanks banking family. It was later used as NHS accommodation for nurses and later became a private nursing home.
Consero London was founded in 2004 as a luxury residential developer operating in the prime central London and home counties markets. The housebuilder has future luxury developments planned further afield in Sunningdale, Woking and Maidenhead, with more locations under discussion.
