Top London lots headline the catalogue for Allsop sale

Allsop’s forthcoming residential auction is to feature two prize London opportunities.

The largest lot in the catalogue is a block of 18 three-bedroom flats in Greenwich with the opportunity for redevelopment, priced at a guide of £7m.

In Mayfair, a 6,260 sq ft building on Charles Street, W1, off Berkeley Square is being guided at £6m. It comprises five flats.

Outside the capital the catalogue also includes a 20-bedroom Grade II listed mansion surrounded by almost 15 acres of grounds in Cumbria, close to the village of Maulds Meaburn, with a guide price of £440,000.

The catalogue also features a Coventry property with 65 studio flats let on a single five-year lease, guided at £6.5m, and 21 regulated tenancy investments.

Richard Adamson, partner and auctioneer at Allsop, said: “Given that the political backdrop is still incredibly uncertain, with Brexit looming later this month, a catalogue of this size and quality is sending a strong message that it is still business as usual.

“The catalogue offers its usual wide variety of assets that will appeal to everyone: investors, first-time buyers and developers. As a result, we are expecting strong competition on the day.”

The auction will take place on 28 March at the InterContinental London, Park Lane, W1.
