The Superdry co-founder seeking to return to the board said he was disappointed that a major advisory firm has declined to back his call.
Earlier this month Julian Dunkerton created a website and published a document entitled “Supercharging Superdry”, asking shareholders to support his appointment as a director and former Boohoo chairman Peter Williams as a non-executive director.
However, ISS warned investors that Dunkerton, who stepped down from the board a year ago, was partly to blame for the retailer’s struggles.
