Shepherd Chartered Surveyors has appointed Steven Mackie (pictured right) to its residential department in Dunfermline.
Palace Capital has appointed Abigail Rowton (pictured second from right) as an asset manager. She joins from Aberdeen Standard Investments.
The Association of Leasehold Enfranchisement Practitioners has appointed John Midgley (pictured second from left) to its executive committee. Midgley is a partner in the property disputes team at Seddons and heads the specialist leasehold enfranchisement team.
Carlin Fier (pictured left) will join Battersea Power Station Development Company as head of brand in July. The newly created role aims to strengthen the Battersea Power Station brand in the UK and globally.
Matthews & Goodman has promoted Richard Moreton to partner and Alex Whilde and Richard Elton to associate partners in Manchester. Sharon Merone and Jonathan Wright have been appointed to associate partners in the Liverpool office. Matthew Riley has been made a partner in the London office.
Law firm Bishop & Sewell has appointed Paul Barnes as a partner in the residential property team. He has more than 20 years’ experience in residential and commercial property and leasehold enfranchisement expertise.
WSP has hired Fiachra Ó Cléirigh as strategic growth and international development director in energy and Nelson Morgado as technical director in its UK business.
Ingenious has appointed Luke Burdess as business development director.
Law firm Penningtons Manches has opened a real estate division in Birmingham and has appointed commercial property specialist Joel Kordan as a partner. Lawyers Justin Winterbottom and Charlie Seaward have joined the Oxford office, both were formerly partners at BrookStreet des Roches.
MDA Consulting has promoted Chris Lester to director in the Bristol office.
Invel has appointed Aniello Priore as chief financial officer for Italy and Fabio Bronzoni as head of asset management, based in Milan.
CBRE has appointed Leah Stearns as chief financial officer. Based in Dallas, she will oversee CBRE’s global finance and accounting organisation.
Moda Living has recruited Kate Barnes from Urban Bubble as general manager of its Angel Gardens development in Manchester. Sarah Flint has joined as head of asset Management from LIV and will manage the overall asset performance across the group.
Yorkshire-based property developer Sterling Capitol has appointed Paul Beckett as head of development and Claire Bond as financial controller.
Lettings specialist George Vernon has joined JLL to help establish a Mayfair and Marylebone lettings team. Vernon will work with Phoebe Tye, who joins from JLL’s Knightsbridge office to provide clients with local market knowledge and professional lettings advice.
Helen Archer has joined the environmental team at Harris Lamb. She joins from JBA Consulting where she worked on environmental and ecological projects.
SHW has made the following promotions: Wayne Davidson, Adam Nelson, James Bryant and Fabienne Barratt to senior surveyors; Harry Beyer and Matt Davies to surveyors; and Elaine Edgehill, Emma Gamby and Laura Ritchie to property managers.
The residential development team at Bidwells has appointed Neil Kelly as head of residential development for the eastern region; George Newcombe joins as a partner in Oxford; Greg Loizou has been recruited as associate in Cambridge; and Serena Leach has been appointed to the Cambridge team as a senior surveyor.
Nick Markham, chairman of Inview Technology, has been appointed to chair the board of developer and placemaking specialist LCR. He will support its mission to deliver urban regeneration, homes, jobs and investment from transport-linked land and property assets.
Hines has appointed Vanessa Gelado as head of its operations in Spain.
Clifford Chance has promoted Tariq Imam, head of the firm’s Middle East real estate practice, to partner.
Ian Mackie has joined BRG to lead the launch of its London-based real estate practice. As managing director he will lead the new EMEA real estate and fixed-asset valuation practice which will provide valuation, advisory and consulting services.
Savills Investment Management has appointed Alex Jeffrey as chief executive. Based in Singapore, he will join the firm in late 2019. He was previously head of Asia Pacific at M&G Investments.
Frédéric Schneider, partner at Carter Jones in London, has been re-elected onto the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors’ board of directors to serve a two-year term as international board member-at-large.
Europa Capital has appointed Eric Biren as partner to lead its new Luxembourg office. Biren has worked with Europa Capital as a consultant for more than 20 years.
Savills has appointed Jessica Graesberg as head of agency, and Magnus Landvik as director of leasing for Sweden. Both previously worked for Cushman & Wakefield.
