Catalogues continue to drag down N Brown

Sales at the retailer behind the Jacamo, Simply Be and JD Williams labels have fallen by 4 per cent as the group continues to move the bulk of its business online.

N Brown, whose brands specialise in clothing for plus-size and mature customers, said that revenue in its first quarter of the year, which ended on June 1, was dragged down by its catalogue and mail order products, which fell 5.4 per cent. Digital revenues were up 3 per cent.
