Tilstone Partners, Warehouse REIT’s external manager, has appointed Greg Lacey as its asset manager for the REIT’s urban properties in the North West.
Lacey will be based at Tilstone Partners’ regional headquarters in Chester, reporting directly to investment director Paul Makin.
He joins the business from Commercial Estates Group, where he oversaw a “significant proportion” of its 1.3m sq ft industrial, offices, retail, leisure and development portfolio in the North of England.
Before that, Lacey was an asset manager within Asda’s real estate team, across its retail, land and investment portfolio in the North West, Yorkshire and East Midlands.
Following his appointment, Tilstone Partners has a UK real estate team of 10 people.
Andrew Bird, managing director of Tilstone Partners, said: “Greg brings in-depth sector knowledge to Warehouse REIT that will support us in identifying optimum investment and asset management opportunities in the North of England.
“He has a proven ability to improve income and value across diversified portfolios thanks to a strong network of local contacts, and a hands-on approach to understanding occupiers’ business strategies.”
Lacey added: “We continue to see strong occupier demand for well located, good quality logistics assets in the North West.”
