Sixteen of Britain’s biggest companies have been named as laggards on female representation in a joint attack by a leading investor group and a government-backed review.
Four companies in the FTSE 350 currently have no women on their board, almost three years after the Hampton-Alexander Review said that firms should aim for a third of their board and senior leadership positions to be held by women. These are Daejan, the property company, the iron ore miner Ferrexpo, TR Property Investment Trust and Kainos, the software group.
