Cromwell announces head of asset management for Europe

Cromwell Property Group has promoted its co-head of UK, Stephen Cahoon, to be its head of asset management Europe.

Cahoon will work with Jitse Mulder, head of property management Europe, and Kaj Bakker, sustainability manager Europe, to oversee the management of Cromwell’s European property portfolio.

Cahoon joined Cromwell Property Group in 2016 as its head of asset management UK, before becoming co-head of UK in 2018.

Before this, he worked in Valad’s asset manager and investment team from 2011 to 2016 and as a surveyor at Montagu Evans from 2010 to 2011.

He started out as a surveyor at BNP Paribas Real Estate in 2006.

Wouter Zwetsloot, head of real estate Europe at Cromwell Property Group, commented: “Since joining Cromwell, Stephen has taken on increasing management responsibility, latterly as co-head of the UK. His promotion to this newly created role reinforces his position in the European senior management team and will see him take a more central role in formulating and implementing a cohesive European asset management strategy across the portfolio.
