The European Medicines Agency has ended a landmark Brexit legal dispute over its Canary Wharf headquarters after agreeing a deal to offload its office to the US serviced office giant Wework.
The medicines agency, which has moved its headquarters with 900 staff to Amsterdam from London as a result of Brexit, had been trying to get out of a £500m office lease that it agreed in 2011. Yesterday, however, Canary Wharf Group said the EMA had dropped its appeal against the High Court decision and had instead agreed to sub-let the building to WeWork.
