Véronique Laury bonus sparks investor revolt at Kingfisher

Kingfisher suffered an investor revolt at its annual meeting as almost a quarter of shareholders objected to a bonus payment to its outgoing chief executive in a year when profits fell.

The home improvement group, which owns B&Q and Screwfix, said it would respond within six months after 24.19 per cent voted against its remuneration report.
