Workspace Group reports strong flexible office interest

Workspace Group has reported strong interest in its flexible office providing in its quarterly results for the period ending 30 June.

It had an average of 1,060 monthly enquiries, with 121 lettings per month.

This is a small dip from the previous quarter but up from the same period last year, when it had 1,021 enquiries and 88 lettings.

During the period, the provider completed the refurbishment of the Light Box, in Chiswick, west London, and completed two new buildings at Brickfields in Hoxton, N1, and Ink Rooms in Clerkenwell, EC1.

It expects to complete another three refurbishments this year, providing a further 104,000 sq ft of new space.

Graham Clemett, interim chief executive at Workspace Group, said: “Our distinctive flexible offer continues to attract strong demand from a broad range of customers, despite the challenging economic environment.

“Our completed projects are letting well and we are progressing at pace with the delivery of our project pipeline. Alongside this, we remain well positioned to take advantage of acquisition opportunities but remain rigorous on our return criteria.”
