Landsec boss Rob Noel has been appointed as a new independent non-executive director at housebuilder Taylor Wimpey.
Noel will leave Landsec in 2020 after eight years as its chief executive.
He will take up the non-executive directorship from 1 October. Upon his appointment to the board, Noel will also become a member of the audit committee and the nomination committee.
Kevin Beeston, chairman of Taylor Wimpey, said: “Rob has a deep understanding of the property sector and a strong track record of success as the chief executive of Landsec, all of which will provide an excellent fit for our board’s current skill set and balance.”
