Glenhawk has appointed Peter Turner (pictured left) as business development manager from Shawbrook Bank. Steven Khan joined the firm as chief operating office.
The Instant Group has appointed Nick Land (pictured second from left) as chairman. He has previously held non-executive director roles at Allied Boots, Royal Dutch Shell and Vodafone since retiring as executive chairman of Ernst & Young in 2006.
Rider Levett Bucknall has appointed Jo Reynolds (pictured second from right) as managing partner in its Birmingham office. She joined the firm 25 years ago and has held a number of senior management positions across RLB’s UK network. Andrew Stamps has joined the Birmingham team as national head of infrastructure.
Hammerson has named Simon Travis (pictured right) as group investment director and managing director of premium outlets. He joined the firm in 1998, and his roles have included investment manager and business development director.
Surveyor Stephen Thomas has joined the commercial property department of Shepherd Chartered Surveyors in its Inverness office. He moves from the firm’s Aberdeen office, which he joined as a graduate five years ago and has acted for major lenders and private clients.
Gerald Eve has recruited Lee Marple as partner in its building consultancy and project management team. He has more than 25 years’ experience in project management, fit-out and building consultancy, and advising clients including Amazon, The Financial Ombudsman Service, Boeing and The Crown Estate.
Housebuilder Backhouse has appointed Richard Gregory as a non-executive director. A former regional operations director at Barratt David Wilson Homes, Gregory oversaw the technical, commercial, and construction functions across four divisions. In his new role at Backhouse his main focus will involve advising on operational strategy and implementation whilst supporting the growth of the wider operations team.
Colliers International has appointed Scott Nelson as chief executive in global occupier services, to drive multi-market transaction and project engagements across its global platform.
Eyal Dalfour has joined Savills as a consultant in the investment team based in the Amsterdam office. He was previously an associate in the valuations department of Colliers International, where he focused on the valuation of offices and logistics assets.
Law firm Brady Solicitors has recruited property specialist Jeremy Weaver as head of litigation, to work across the residential property management sector, based in its Nottingham office.
Boyer has promoted Jenny Pike to principal planner in the Colchester office; Laura McCombe to senior planner in the Midlands office; and Rachel White to planner in the London office.
West End Chartered Surveyors HNG has recruited Anastassia Offei to the property management team. She previously worked for Freshwater Group.
Addington Capital has recruited David Dalrymple as a partner focusing on asset management in the office sector. He joins from Columbia Threadneedle Property Investments, where he was a senior asset manager specialising in the UK real estate market.
Julian Thew has joined Tunstall Smith King Consulting Engineers as a senior technician from ML Consulting. As part of the Nottingham based team his responsibilities will include site visits, producing general arrangements and structural steelwork drawings using Revit and AutoCAD programmes.
Principle Estate Management has appointed Paul Richardson as finance manager.
Quintessentially Estates has appointed Simon Garcia as partner, Kathryn Chesham as director of home management and Christian de Meillac as international sales manager.
Paul Harris has joined Trident Building Consultancy’s Liverpool office as a senior building surveyor. He joins from Colliers International and will focus on commercial building surveying, from inception and negotiating to delivery.
Katerina Patmore will join Harworth Group as its new chief financial officer and executive director. She joins from Harwood Real Estate.
Savills Investment Management has recruited Jeremy Wells and Katie Joyce to its UK business development. They will support the Charities Property Fund and the firm’s wider UK business.
JLL has named Cynthia Kantor as chief product officer for its corporate solutions business, to deliver innovative products that enhance clients’ business performance.
Adcocks Solicitors, specialists in commercial property and leasehold reform, have opened a new city office in the Crossway building in the centre of Birmingham.
Former Nottingham City Council leader Jon Collins has been appointed by Godwin Group as a public sector advisor on its advisory board. He brings 40 years’ experience in local government and the public and voluntary sectors to the role.
