BJSS has prelet L&G’s 1 Whitehall Quay in Leeds.
The IT and business consultancy has signed a 10-year lease for the entire 30,490 sq ft of offices in the building, which is near the River Aire. It will move in later this year.
The deal is one of the largest transactions in Leeds this year, following MEPC’s deal with The Stars Group to prelet 135,915 sq ft to Sky Betting and Gaming, which EG revealed in May.
Office take-up figures for Q2 2019, which do not include the BJSS deal, show that take-up in Leeds has increased by 47% over the past year.
Some 213,341 sq ft was let in the city centre in Q2, with 27 deals completed.
