Bookseller Foyles has partnered with later living developer Elysian Residences to provide libraries in its developments in London and the South East.
The Elysian libraries will be curated and maintained by Foyles and will include access to foreign language books, music and DVDs.
It is the first time that Foyles has agreed to curate private libraries in partnership with a residential developer.

The first library is being built at the 101-home scheme the Landsby on Merrion Avenue in Stanmore and is expected to open in late 2019. The 1,675 sq ft library will feature a central limestone fireplace surrounded by 8ft high library shelving with communal reading space.
Future schemes to include a Foyles library include the Oren on West Heath Road.
Foyles general manager Stephen Clarke said: “This is a new and exciting venture for us, and we look forward to offering Elysian residents a service of the same high standard to which we hold each of our bookshops.”
Elysian Residences chief executive Gavin Stein added: “ We wanted to provide our residents with a relaxing reading environment curated with the latest high-quality books and other publications.”
