Yum Brands on Monday said it has promoted veteran David Gibbs to take the helm of the company behind quick serve restaurant chains KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell at the start of next year. Mr Gibbs, 55, who currently serves as Yum Brands president and operating chief overseeing the three main divisions, will succeed Greg Creed, who has served as chief executive officer since 2015 and will retire at the end of 2019.
