Cadbury’s owner agrees new lease to stay at Uxbridge Business Park

Cadbury’s owner Mondelez has agreed to a new 10-year lease at its current home in Uxbridge Business Park.

It has decided to stay put and occupy 54,991 sq ft over the ground and first floors in Building 3 at the business park owned by Arlington.

Paul McSweeney, asset management director at Arlington, said: “Having been a major customer since we first built their headquarters in 2007, we have been working with Mondelez UK to find a long-term solution for their continued occupation at the park.”

Uxbridge Business Park is also home to pharmaceutical firms Amgen and Bristol-Myers Squibb, as well as Xerox and Lifescan.

Quoting rents for new space in Uxbridge are around £37.50 per sq ft.

CBRE acted for Mondelez UK; Arlington was unrepresented.
