Andy Burnham will set out his vision for the city at next week’s EG Question Time in Manchester.
Burnham, mayor of Greater Manchester, will speak ahead of a panel debate that will address the city’s inclusive growth agenda, its evolving retail and leisure offer and its ambitions for the years ahead.
Other speakers include Emma Greenwood, Youth MP for Bury; James Evans, head of Savills’ Manchester office; Ian Gibbs, director of neighbourhoods at Get Living; and Sacha Lord, the founder of the Warehouse Project and Parklife and now the mayor’s night-time economy adviser.
With the mayor prioritising tackling homelessness in the city, debate will also centre on creating places and spaces for everyone.
The free event takes place on 25 September at Manchester Central.
