Columbia Threadneedle has signed automotive solutions company ETAS to occupy the whole of Alexander House in York.
ETAS has agreed a 15-year lease for 35,000 sq ft of offices on the ground, first and second floors.
The company will relocate from its offices in Bacchus House into Alexander House, which has recently undergone a refurbishment.
Alex Hailey, director of CBRE’s office agency team in Leeds, which advised Columbia Threadneedle on the deal, said: “This deal is testament to the quality of the refurbishment, which incorporates unique internal properties.
“The range of large floorplates was ideally suited to ETAS and the building had the added benefit of being close to all of the amenities the city has to offer.”
