Alison Hardy is to join Ashurst as a partner in its real estate dispute resolution team.
Hardy, who last year served as chair of the Property Litigation Association, was previously national head of the property litigation practice at Squire Patton Boggs, and will join an Ashurst team that was already ranked as a tier one firm for commercial property in last year’s Legal 500.
Hardy said that she is looking forward to joining the team from 6 April.
James Levy, head of the London dispute resolution team, said: “Alison is an experienced real estate litigator. We are confident that she will deliver great results for clients and play a key role in developing our capability in high-value disputes.”
Global head of real estate Hugh Lumby added: “There are some major opportunities in the sector on which Alison will help us capitalise. In particular the investment we saw last year in proptech is certainly set to continue.”
