DJ Freeman’s Vivien King to join Bond Pearce

Following almost a year of discussions, retail law firm Bond Pearce has announced that the former head of DJ Freeman’s property litigation team, Vivien King, will join the firm in May 2003.

King is renowned for her expertise in the retail sector, particularly in the fields of dilapidations, service charges, rent review and disability discrimination. She was previously a partner with Turner Kenneth Brown before moving on to SJ Berwin in 1994 and DJ Freeman in 1999, where she became head of property litigation.

King is a member of the Property Law Journal, a Fellow of the Institute of Continuing Professional Development, and a member of Arbix. She is a PACT arbitrator and a member of the Property Litigation Association and its law reform committee. In addition, she sits on the organising committee of the RICS commercial faculty conference, and on the RICS working parties for both dilapidations and disability discrimination.
