A new specialist planning practice, Town Legal LLP, is to launch early next year, formed by industry leading partners from King & Wood Mallesons (KWM), Herbert Smith Freehills (HSF) and Gowling WLG.
Simon Ricketts from KWM (pictured), Patrick Robinson from HSF and Clare Fielding from Gowling WLG, who were all named as leading individuals for planning in the Legal 500 2016, will be joined by experienced planning barrister Mary Cook, from Cornerstone Barristers, as well as KWM managing associate Meeta Kaur and HSF senior associate Elizabeth Christie. All six will be partners in Town Legal.
The firm, listed on Companies House with an address c/o Fox Williams LLP, at 10 Finsbury Square, London EC2, will launch on 3 January 2017 and will focus on providing planning law advice, primarily in relation to major mixed-use and urban development schemes, both inside and outside London.
