Peter Selwyn and Ben Brayford join Forsters after working at Mayer Brown and Denton Wilde Sapte respectively.
Both have experience of a wide range of property issues, including landlord and tenant and sales and acquisitions, and will act for institutional investors, property companies, local authorities and retailers.
Amy France and Tina Heathcote, who have been with Forsters since 2008, qualify as solicitors in September and have already joined the property group.
Property litigation lawyer Jamie Kidd joins in July from Eversheds, where he has gained expertise in commercial property disputes; he has particular experience in issues affecting developments, such as restrictive covenants, easements, nuisance and rights of light.
His expertise extends to judicial review and professional negligence claims that arise in a property context.
Howard Gill, head of commercial property, commented: “We are pleased to be able to continue to expand our property team. Forsters remains totally committed to investment in our property practice and to its importance as a centre of excellence in the firm.”
