LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae has announced that four new partners are to join the firm’s London office in November, bringing the number of partners to 30.

John Bowman, Paul Watchman and Graham Prentice all join the firm from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer where they are currently partners.

Bowman is an environmental lawyer who specialises in non-contentious environmental and planning (zoning) law and regulatory matters, including regulation of the electricity and telecommunications sectors. He advises clients on EU regulatory issues and on the planning and environmental aspects of mergers and acquisitions (M&A).

Watchman has expertise in non-contentious environmental, planning and regulatory matters, and has advised clients in a wide variety of areas, including chemicals, engineering, energy and real estate.

Prentice is a real estate lawyer with particular interest in commercial property, including the real estate aspects of M&A transactions, property development, and brownfield regeneration and planning matters. He will be working closely with LeBoeuf Lamb’s real estate counsel Nicholas Shepherd.

Nicholas Rock is a partner and head of the environment group at Blake Lapthorn Linnell and practices in non-contentious and contentious matters. He advises on domestic and international litigation, arbitration and mediation, particularly in the areas of civil and administrative environmental law and regulation, insurance and reinsurance law and general commercial litigation.

LeBoeuf Lamb’s London managing partner, Peter Sharp said: “They are a fantastic addition to the London office, and will bring us significant depth in environmental and real estate areas. Their expertise will enhance our current offerings to clients in these fields and help us complement and extend our London and US capabilities into new areas in the UK and international markets.”
