Irwin Mitchell appoints national head of real estate

Irwin Mitchell has appointed Adrian Barlow, formerly a partner at Pinsent Masons, as its new national head of real estate.

He will lead a team of more than 30 commercial real estate partners and more than 40 other commercial real estate lawyers across eight UK offices.

Barlow led Pinsent Masons’ property group from 2004 to 2016, and his client focus is in advising both public and private sector organisations in project strategy and the implementation of real estate portfolio and business change management from a legal perspective. He has advised household names, FTSE 100 and foreign companies.

Vicky Brackett, chief executive of Irwin Mitchell’s business legal services division, said: “We are delighted to announce that Adrian Barlow is joining Irwin Mitchell to head our real estate practice.

“Adrian is an exceptional leader who has shown throughout his career a genuine interest in people and managing talent within his team. I am confident that he has the right credentials to build on our already strong reputation in the real estate market.”
