The John Lewis Partnership (JLP) has appointed a new legal panel following a review of its existing arrangements. Firms on the new panel will provide advice to the partnership and its trading divisions: John Lewis department stores, Waitrose supermarkets and Greenbee, JLP’s new direct services company.
JLP has reappointed Lovells to the panel. It is joined by Eversheds, Pinsent Masons, Travers Smith, Beachcrofts (on real estate matters) and Wragge & Co (on property litigation matters).
Margaret Casely-Hayford, director of legal services and company secretary at JLP said: “We are delighted with the support that we have received from Lovells, and this is reflected in our decision to reappoint it. We are very much looking forward to working with the other successful firms, which have all demonstrated their expertise and understanding of the business needs of the John Lewis Partnership.”
