The Land Registry’s consultation paper on the Land Registration Rules has just been published. The new rules will support the Land Registration Act 2002, which is expected to come into force in October 2003. The consultation paper includes proposals relating to:
- Land Registry forms, including a prescribed form of lease of registered land;
- abolition of land and charge certificates;
- the supply of registered land information.
