Land Registry searches for pilot users for European service

The Land Registry is looking for customers to be pilot users of a new European land information service (EULIS) facility that will eventually be available to all Land Registry Direct users.

EULIS is a network of land registries that work together to provide customers in Europe with electronic access to land registration information and services. It aims to support a single European property market and cross-border lending by providing information on the conveyancing and registration systems in the various member countries. It will provide customers with access to online information and services in other countries: all European land and property registration services will available through a single portal.

The EULIS portal enables a customer to use his or her country’s online service to access another. The services of England and Wales, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Lithuania and the Netherlands are live for access from other countries. Scotland, Finland, Austria, the Czech Republic, Iceland, Italy and Northern Ireland are expected to join soon.

Email admin@landregistrydirect.gov.uk now if you are interested in being a pilot user.
