Asserta Home, one of the big three residential property websites, has redesigned its website. Many of the changes are those you’d expect – improved navigation, for example. However, despite this being the age of business cutbacks, the site has actually boosted its editorial content.
The redesign introduces 10 “channels” designed to guide the viewer to the most appropriate section for their needs as quickly as possible. One of these is Money Matters. This channel has been launched in a partnership with Money Supermarket, a loan and credit card provider, and independent financial advisor Incresco, a provider of online financial “makeovers”. Other channels include Mortgages & Insurance, Legal & Surveying and Home Improvement.
Asserta Home’s marketing and commercial director, Jim Cruickshank, says: “One of the primary objectives of the redesign is to drive more traffic through to commercial partners and advertisers.”
