Stapleford in rent arrears dispute over golf course

The owners of Stapleford Park Estate, Melton Mowbray, are suing Stapleford Park Ltd for rent owed on a golf course and clay pigeon shooting site.

According to a claim just made publicly available, Lady Jennifer Gretton, Stephen Cooke, and Sir Lyonel Tollemache are suing the company, which holds a 99 year lease of the 155 acre golf course, for rent arrears of £58,750.

The claimant also alleges that Stapleford owes £5,875 for the right to use parkland on the estate for clay pigeon shooting.

The owners are suing Stapleford, of the Premier Centre, Abbey Park, Romsey, Hampshire, for the rent allegedly outstanding, together with of £212.78 and interest running at £25.75 per day.
