Virtual doctor’s spot diagnosis

Agents LSM Partners’ new website has some ambitious goals. For example, its “Property Doctor” claims to let users ask about absolutely any property issue. It is, in essence, a sophisticated search engine – but it is also an innovative and user-friendly way of aiding visitors.

The Property Doctor is used to help develop the site. Questions which cannot be answered give the firm a pointer on what needs to be added.

The firm says its aims were ease and clarity of navigation. It seems to have succeeded by using a fresh design that sets it apart from the traditional, corporate tone of many property sites. Information is given in small chunks that rarely require you to scroll down, making it easy to read and digest.

The next stage has an international flavour. Foreign visitors have left questions with the Property Doctor. Translating the site into four other European languages is under way.

The site is managed by an in-house team.
