Wragge & Co has launched a six-strong property funds team led by head of corporate real estate Kevin Jones.
The Birmingham-based firm has previously worked on several major property-based investment deals.
Jones advised Parkridge on the creation of two Central European property investment and development funds totalling 625m, with Morley Fund Management.
“Fund work on an ad-hoc basis has built up steadily over the last three years, both setting up funds for property clients and advising on acquisitions, so we decided to establish a formal property funds team,” he says.
The team’s final “signing” was offshore funds specialist Felicity Cole, who has joined Wragge’s London office from Bermuda-based Conyers Dill & Pearman where she headed its Cayman Islands practice.
Other work in her 15-year career has included setting up a South-East Asia property fund for Schroders Private Equity Services and a Portugal property fund for Lloyds TSB.
