The 1.6m-sq ft Massey Ferguson factory at Banner Lane, Tower Hill, Coventry, has been sold for a rumoured £4m.
Situated on 78 acres, the property is held on a lease by Varity Holdings on behalf of Massey Ferguson, who are paying an annual rent of £510,000. The buyers were London-based investment clients of Grimley J R Eve.
Henry Butcher, who acted for the Property Services Agency, say that the tender attracted some 300 inquiries with 25 serious bids resulting.
