Hammerson has agreed to sell Jones Lang LaSalle’s City of London headquarters to KWAP, the Malaysian state pension fund.
KWAP will pay £200m for the building at 10 Gresham Street, EC2, where Lloyds TSB Bank is the principal tenant. Hammerson’s share of the sale of the building that was jointly owned with the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board amounts to £60m. Hammerson also confirmed it had put up for sale the only other office building still under its ownership, Stockley House, in Victoria, apart from its own City headquarters. Hammerson closed up 6p at 457p.
