200 Great Dover St fully let

Property investor Dorrington has fully let 200 Great Dover Street, SE1 , less than a month after completing a refurbishment of the office asset.

Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust has taken 25,250 sq ft at the 36,000 sq ft 200 building, paying £32.50 per sq ft.

Det Norske Veritas, which provides services for managing risk, and FP Creative have signed for the remaining space.

Dorrington bought the property in April from Helical Bar for £6.5m .

Robert Harris, director at Dorrington, said: “When we purchased the building vacant we were expecting to quote £29.50 per sq ft. We had so many viewings during the project that we revised the quoting rent to £32.50 per sq ft, and at the time that Guy’s and St Thomas’ made their bid we were seriously considering upping it to £35 per sq ft. Demand in Southwark has really taken off.”

Ingleby Trice and CBRE are letting agents on 200 Great Dover Street. GVA advised Guy’s and St Thomas’; Matthews & Goodman represented FP; Harrison Leggett acted for DNV.
