A list of 600 interested buyers for a 204,000-hectare ranch in Texas has been reduced to just 12.
The WT Waggoner Estate is the largest in the US. The successful applicant will get two main compounds, 12,000 hectares of cultivated land and many thousands of hectares of unexplored land. That is in addition to livestock and oil wells.
The asking price for the ranch is $725m.
